Can we raise $75,000 in 18 minutes?
Victoria is hosting Camp Quality’s first-ever crowdfunding event on September 5th in Melbourne, and we would love you to come along!
This event will be an exciting way to show people what we do at Camp Quality and see the power of laughter in action! Our Services and Programs people, along with families and volunteers, will be speaking and getting the crowd involved in an exciting live-pledging session. The crowd will even get to see one of our puppeteer’s in action!
We'll be joined by:
- Stanley Browning who will pitch our Primary School Education Program
- Vanessa Bullman who will pitch our Family Camps
- Maddie See who will pitch our new Camps for kids impacted by a carer's cancer.
Can we raise over $75,000 in under 18 minutes? It's all up to you!
We invite you to come and bring along friends and family who you think would love to hear more about the great stuff we do, and/or may have the capacity to give $100 or more on the evening. This will help us to ensure the night is a great success.
This tailored crowdfunding event is an excellent opportunity for people who don’t have the capacity to give at a major gift level to experience what it feels like. We are excited to be both funding our programs, and empowering and inspiring philanthropic thinking and experience.
If you or someone you know would like to be a part of this fantastic event, you can register on our Facebook.
About Camp Quality
Camp Quality gives kids facing cancer the chance to be kids again. Our services and programs are made specifically to help children 0 -13 who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of someone they love, like a brother, sister, mum or dad. We are there for them through the daily ups and downs of cancer, providing opportunities to laugh, make friends and have new adventures. By creating positive memories, Camp Quality helps change the cancer story for kids and their families: in-hospital, at home, at school and away from it all.
In 2018 Camp Quality raised funds to ensure over 8,000 kids who were registered for our services and programs had the chance to just be kids again. We do not receive any substantial financial support from the Australian, State or Territory Governments. Instead we rely almost entirely on the generosity of everyday Australians and corporate partners to help us provide services and programs free of charge.
