Camp Quality gives kids facing cancer the chance to be kids again. Our services and programs are made specifically to help children 0 -13 who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of someone they love, like a brother, sister, mum, dad or carer. We are there for them through the daily ups and downs of cancer, providing opportunities to laugh, make friends and have new adventures.

Available Positions

Family Program Coordinator

  • Convenient North Sydney location
  • Permanent, full time role to start January 2022

Camp Quality gives kids facing cancer the chance to be kids again. Our services and programs are created specifically to support children aged up to 15 years, who are dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of someone they love, like a brother, sister, mum or dad. Camp Quality provides kids and their families with fun experiences, trusted information, coping tools and a supportive community; in-hospital, online, at school and away from it all on camps and at our retreats.


About the Role

As a key member of the Services and Programs team, the Family Program Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of Camp Quality’s family programs, as well as positively engaging and supporting families.

The Family Program Coordinator will facilitate programs / services access and be the key liaison for Hospitals and other Not for Profits.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • prior event, project management or customer service experience
  • prior experience recruiting, training, and working with volunteers
  • experience developing and managing recreation programs, or similar
  • the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities to ensure deadlines are met and records are current
  • current driver’s license.
