KICC Camps

Camp Quality has identified an overwhelming need to support children facing a parent’s diagnosis. Our specifically developed KICC Camps are based on our successful Kids’ Camp model and cater to kids 7-13 years old dealing with the reality of a parent’s cancer.

In 2019 Camp Quality ran its first highly successful pilot KICC Camp in WA. KICC Camps give children the opportunity to make friends who are going through a similar situation, have a break from what can be a frightening reality and have fun. KICC Camps also give parents a break from worrying about how their child is coping. Pilot Camps have shown children return feeling positive after making happy, new memories that change their cancer story.

Camp Quality is currently calling on the Australian community to help fund further KICC Camps in 2021. You can donate here to ensure kids facing a parent’s diagnosis don’t miss out on having a childhood.

Who is eligible?

KICC Camps are available to kids 7-13 years old registered with Camp Quality, who have a parent or carer diagnosed with cancer.

Registrations for further KICC Camps are dependant on funding.
